Tube-Tongue

Member of Acanthus family
Blooms: February through December
This tiny little plant is often found moist areas near creeks and lakes. It grows low to the ground and spreads covering the ground with its tiny light lavender to rose colored blooms.
It is a perennial herb which looks a lot like a member of the mint family. It is a favorite of the White-Checkered Butterfly.
"Teach me to hold my tongue; and cause me to understand wherein I have erred."
Job 6:24
