Variegated Fritillary Butterfly

This Fritillary is an orange species . They are found mostly in open areas and along roadsides. Notice the beautiful marking on this species. It can be found throughout the southern United States and even Southern Canada. Certain varieties of the Fritillaries can be found in the South throughout the year. They seem to love most all flowers.
This is the first time I have seen this particular one, click on him for a better look at how pretty his markings are.
The Butterfly is a symbol of the Resurrection. The Butterfly only lives a short period of time after laying it's eggs and then dies, only to come back again from the beautiful caterpillar it produces. The circle of life continues through Mother Nature.
JESUS said, "I AM the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in ME, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thous this?"
John 11:25-26
