What a busy morning in my garden.
Seems the bees have taken over today, but when the day heats up the butterflies will come in.
I love to water and spray water up into the air so that it falls over the garden. That's when the butterflies fly about taking their afternoon bath in the cool water.
Good plants to attract butterflies are this purple Butterfly Bush, Esperanzas, Lantana is a real favorite and it comes in so many different colors now and the Echinacea daisies are a hit too. Wild Beebalms are good also and can be started from seeds in the fall. LOVE IT!!!
