Blooms: February - November
This plant is very aggressive and twines itself around other plants. This perennial vine can grow up to 30 ft. from the parent plant. It multiplies from seed pods and pods on it's root system. It's blooms are white or pale pink and it has arrow shaped leaves.
It is a real problem to farmers as it twines around their crops and strangles the plants . It has heavy foliage and keeps out the sunlight. It causes a lot of damage to crops.
Texas Bindweed opens early morning and closes up by mid-day. It has very beautiful blooms.
