These grow just everywhere in North East Texas. They grow in large quantities and are covered with tiny thorns. They are similiar to the Texas Blackberry, but berries are larger and sweeter.
In early summer they will be covered with sweet berries. They are a major food source for wildlife . They also make great berry cobblers and jams and jellies. I will post a picture of berries when they are ripe.
