This is the most beautiful bush.The picture was shared with me by a friend in Austin, Texas. Her name is Merry and I have really enjoyed her emails and her love of nature. She has been following my blog and sends emails. This plant is just SOOO beautiful. It is similar to the "Yellow Bird of Paradise". It grows 5-6 ft. tall and takes full sun. It blooms summer to fall.I saw this in Home Depot Garden center last summer, have to have one this year!!! My wildflower guide says it is resistant to deer, I guess we will find out this summer.
