Blooms: February - March
Well, you know Spring has arrived when these beauties pop up. There are so many different kinds of Daffodils. This particular one is under the Jonquil with "Sweetness" as it's genus name. It has a very sweet fragrance. They are not really a wildflower, but frequently are found growing in fields where usually it has been an old home place. It's fun to see them in fields and think of what "might have been" in the old homes that were once there and who might have lived there. We know one thing for sure, there once was someone who lived there that loved flowers. The Daffodil is one of my favorite spring flowers. Yellow is a "happy" color!

daffodils are my favorite, too! i also like imagining who lived, played, worked, etc in those old places where one finds remnants of gardens. the manmade structures may be gone, but God's beauties remain.
the little bluets look like a succulent. or, is that something else? very sweet.
