Violet Wood Sorrell (Oxalis violacea)

I have this posted farther back on blog, but it is one of my favorites and just had to show it again. Dark green shamrock-like leaves which are purple underneath. The tiny flowers open up at mid-morning and close at dark. These are also found in bright yellow. They will bloom again in the fall on long stems with no leaves.

"And this is HIS commandment, that we believe in the name of HIS SON JESUS CHRIST and love one another just as HE has commanded us."
1 John 3:23 KJV
