Prairie Bluets ( Hedyotis nigricans)

This is another member of the Bluets in Texas. Nineteen species have been identified in our state, ranging from tiny white to pink and lavender. This one is very tiny with flowers 1/8".  They are a member of the Madder family. They are also called Fine-leaf Bluets.
