Arkansas Lazy Daisy (Aphanostephus skirrhobasis)

During  February these little daisies begin to bloom and continue until November. They grow in large colonies.  They are a member of the Aster family. Full sun and almost any type soil will produce these hardy plants. Another common name is Doze Daisy, both names referring to its tendency of the flower heads drooping until about mid day.

"The LORD is gracious, and full of compassion;  slow to anger, and of great mercy."
Psalm 145:8
