Blue-Dasher Dragonfly

Isn't this one handsome? Notice it's turquoise eyes. Click for a closer look at his beauty.
Dragonflies differ from Damselfies in that the Dragonfly's wings stay spread out when perched and the Damselfy's are folded up over their backs.
Dragonflies eat mosquitoes and other insects. This one is enjoying the Lavender in my garden.
"Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: let such as love thy salvation say continually, The LORD be magnified."
Psalm 40:16
