I finally found a flower that is blooming in the midst of winter. I found these bushes at an abandoned house. There were three of them that had grown up to the roofline and were covered with these beautiful flowers.
This variety is all "Yuletide Camellia".

This one blooms in late fall and through winter months. The cold does not effect it at all.
