Southern Magnolia

These are the seed pods of the Southern Magnolia Tree. They are really pretty with all their bright red seeds. These grow from the flower after it withers away and in fall they fall to the ground. As the seeds fall off they leave behind a pod similar to that of a pine cone. They can be sprayed gold and used in decorating for the holidays or used in their natural color.
Their beautiful dark green leaves also are great for decorating, they last a long time. I love to decorate with things from Mother Nature. There really are lots of nice things out there if you just look around.
"Happy is that people, that is in such a case: yea, happy is that people, whose GOD is the LORD."
Psalm 144: 15
