please don't tell me this is in your backyard or just off y'all's deck; i don't think i could stand it! i want to live in the country, but i'm afraid of the things that go bump in the dark! :) this is really beautiful. where is it?
I am a nature lover at heart and come from a long line of green thumbs. Have always loved flowers, mostly the wild ones. They are such a special gift from God. All of the photos posted were taken near my home, a few in Austin at Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center. My husband and I get into the Mule Sunday afternoons after church and ride the back roads searching for wildflowers. Each year I find new varieties in our area.I got into this about 30 years ago with my dearest friend. (known as my "Nutty Friend".
Have included pictures from Critter Cam in back yard. Enjoy , the best things in life are free if you will only take the time to stop and enjoy them. GOD creates such beauty, acknowledge HIM and thank HIM for his marvelous work.

They do go "bump in the dark", but sometimes "oink oink" or wooo-wooo"
oinks and wooos i could deal with. it's the unidentifiable bumps that worry me... :)
brenda told the "how aunt alpo got her name" story. love it!
