Crimson Clover grows in various soils in fields or along roadsides.
It is a native of Europe, used primarily in this country as a late-winter forage for cattle and deer. It is very rich in proteinLike other Legumes, it also helps to enrich the soil because of its nitrogen-fixing bacteria in its roots. It is also used by state highway departments for roadside beautification and erosion control.
"Come now, let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, the shall be as wool."
