Thanks to the wonderful and dedicated work of the late Lady Bird Johnson, we have designated highways that are surrounded by hundreds of native Texas wildflowers. In our area alone, there have been over 2,000 species identified. I still have a lot of work to do!!! It's a beautiful spring day and I'm headed outdoors with camera in hand.
