"Buck Fever"!!!

Isn't this guy handsome? Usually the buck, the big ones, dine alone. This one came to our feeder quite often during the summer. He slipped away into hiding when fall came. We hope he comes back.

For those of you who don't know what "buck fever" is : it's when you are sitting still and quietly awaiting a big one to walk out into your range and then all of a sudden---- there he is!! Your heart begins to race and pound and you begin to shake so that you can't hold your rifle still. (That's when the BIG ONE gets away.)
