Golden Corydalis

This tiny little flower is also called Scrambled Eggs! It is a member of the Fumitory family and blooms from March until June.

It is a small plant on reaching about 12" and has a cluster of tiny tubular shaped flowers, always golden yellow. This plant is in the same family as Bleeding Heart (or Turk's Cap) .

Corydalis is toxic to livestock when eaten. Native Americans used parts of this plant to help in treating the pain of arthritis.

"As the partridge sitteth on her eggs, and hatcheth them not; so he that getteth riches, and not by right, shall leave them in the midst of his days, and at his end shall be a fool."

Jeremiah 17:11
