Dainty Sulphur Butterfly

This is a smaller version of the large Sulphur Butterfly. It is 1" to 1 1/2" across. It feeds on flowers that grow close to the gound, this one is enjoying my red lantana. They "flutter" around very fast, took me a few minutes to catch this one still for a second. Click for closer look.
If you want a butterfly garden, the Lantana is a must. They come in so many different colors now and bloom until frost. They take the heat very well also. They are an agressive plant and will come back in early spring.
"And the LORD GOD planted a garden in Eden, in the east, and there he put the man whom he had formed. And out of the ground the LORD GOD made to spring up every tree that is pleasant to the sight and good for food . The tree of life was in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil."
Genesis 2:8-9
