Soft-Golden Aster

Member of Sunflower Family
Blooms: May - November
This plant grows in very poor, dry, sandy soil and usually in full sun. It is very pretty, but as it gets taller, becomes a rather scraggly looking plant. It does not have the aroma that other members of the species have.
They grow in large colonies in pastures, woodland openings and on hillsides.
