Wild Roses

We found these wild roses growing along a country road far from any houses. The darker one was growing up into the trees and brush along a creek bank. The light pink was alongside the road and was up into the trees. We found them in several places.

There are over 200 species of wild roses in North American, we have 12 in Texas. They bloom in early summer only.
