Bitterweed

Member of Sunflower Family
Blooms: April - December
Bitterweeds grow in sandy or loamy soils in undisturbed areas, pastures, fields and woodland openings or edges. This plant is usually not eaten by livestock. If cows eat Bitterweed, their milk is very bitter.
Honey made from pollen of this plant is also distasteful and very bitter.
"And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; and with bitter herbs they shall eat it."
Exodus 12:8
