A Glimpse of Glory

Different colors are mentioned all through the Bible and most have some special meaning. Truly GOD has an eye for color. Look closely at the Yellow Coreopsis, Red Crimson Clover, Purple and Sapphire blue Cornflowers, lavender Sages and White Spurge and the beautiful shades of green.

We are told in Revelation that there will be a new Jerusalem:

"The wall was built of Jasper (red stone), while the city was pure gold, clear as glass. The foundations of the wall of the city were adorned with every kind of jewel. The first was jasper, the second sapphire(dark blue), the third agate(white with moss green marking and browns, the fourth emerald(dark green), the fifth onyx(black), the sixth carnelian(reddish-brown), the seventh chrysolite(light green, the eighth beryl(reddish-orange) , the ninth topaz(dark golden amber), the tenth chryoprase (apple to deep green), the eleventh jacinth(clear red), the twelfth amethyst(purple). And the twelve gates were twelve pearls, each of the gates made of a single pearl, and the street of the city was pure gold, transparent as glass."
