Common Dandelion Seed Head (Taraxacum officinale)



Here it is 2 weeks until Christmas and dandelions and wild violets are still blooming. Such strange weather here in northeast Texas. As they say, "if you don't like it, stick around for about 30 minutes and it will change". Seems some of the wildflowers are confused as well.

I have posted this seed head before, but it is so unique and in someways, similiar to a snowflake.
If you double click on the picture, you can see the detail. How can you look at something like this and say there is no GOD. HE certainly has a vivid imagination, and aren't we glad!
