Sage

Having fresh herbs is really nice if you like to cook.

My sage is blooming and growing better than ever. I pick the mature leaves and dry them between paper towels. When dry and crisp, pick off stems and put in chopper or blender and you have fresh sage for the holiday turkey and dressing. It really makes a difference in the taste by using your own and you know it has no preservatives or anything added to it. (Making me hungry).

It's nice to crush and place in zip-lock bags and give to friends as well. You can do the same with other herbs. I have rosemary as well---has a great aroma and flavor for meats.
