Dragonflies have been on earth for estimated 300 million years. Order of Odanto. There are today over 5,000 species that have been identified.
Seems everyday I find a different one and they are so beautiful. This one is called white-tailed, though I don't see a white tail??? Pretty just the same.
Notice the beautiful markings on his wings. Each dragonfly has their own unique design.
