Scarlett Pimpernell

Member of Primrose Family
Blooms: May - September
This tiny little thing is so pretty. It is a native of Europe. It is found in our area of North East Texas, but is not wide spread.
It's tiny flowers are about 1/4" in diameter and a beautiful salmon color.
It is low growing, trailing ground cover and is hard to spot from the roadside. I just happened across this one as I was plundering through the road ditches. What a find!!
