Flutter-mill

Member of Primrose Family
Blooms: April - June
This pretty little flower is about 1" across. It is low growing to ground and often in large patches. It is very drought resistant and can grow in very poor soil types. Their open faces look upward to the evening sun, drooping it's head when struck by the morning sun. It is very hard to transplant into gardens.
Other common names for this little flower are "Ozark-Sundrop", "Missouri-Primrose" and "Buttercup".
