Cedar Sage

Member of Mint Family
Blooms: All summer into fall
There are many ornamental sages.
Their leaves and colors vary. The red Cedar Sage does very well in gardens and most will come back in spring. They can be pruned back also.
All are loved by butterflies, but hummingbirds really love the red ones.
During this Season of Lent, the red color reminds us of the blood that was shed by JESUS CHRIST so that we might live a joyful life and be forgiven of our sins.
"For GOD so loved the world, HE gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish , but have eternal life."
John 3:16
