This is not a wildflower, although there are wild Azeleas, but I have not found one yet, still looking. Isn't this one such a beautiful color with large blooms.
So many types and colors available now, you can even get ones that bloom all year long, though they are a bit pricey. This particular one reached the roof line on the house, there are also dwarfs that remain pretty small. They are all beautiful and certainly brighten up Spring.

Is this Mee-Maw's azalea? or a different one? They are so beautiful, but do not do well in this part of North Texas. I may have to try again though.
