Bee Plant

Member of Caper Family
Blooms: May - September
This is an older picture, but have new camera and much better close up pictures. This plant is in my garden.
Another name for it is "Spider Plant" or "Clammy Weed", because if you touch the leaves, it will leave your hands sticky. It is loved by bees and butterflies. Mostly bees are buzzing around it all the time, gives it one of it's common names "Bee Plant".Mine is already blooming in March and will bloom until frost. They are very hardy plants and take the heat well. It will grow up to 4 ft. and keep flowering in the tops as it grows. Click to see how beautiful this flower is. Such a wonderful color.
