Giant Coneflower

I have researched this plant for many hours in books and online sites, but have not been able to identify it.

Thanks to a friend of a friend, now have a name for it. Thanks for the help.

If you click on picture, you can see the blue Prairie Larkspur in background, Spotted Beebalm, Bishop's Weed and many more. A beautiful flower garden just on the side of the road. All the more reason to stop and take the time to observe your surroundings. You will be amazed at what you will find. Mother Nature is so AWSOME!
