This beautiful Sulphur Butterfly is gathering nectar from the Ground Sage in my garden. In background are the purple Wishbone Flowers.
The Wishones come back each year and bloom all summer long. Isn't this a beautiful combination of colors and a pretty sight for such a cold January day. Can hardly wait for Spring!!!
If you click on the picture, you will see the detail of the butterfly and the purple Wishbone flowers. I did, and I discovered something I had not noticed before...look to far left under purple flower, a little baby lizard basking in the warm sunshine.
