Orange-Yellow Lantana

This is not a wildflower, but grows abundantly in Texas. This color is I think the original one. Now, in garden centers you can find it in white, bright yellow, pinks and purple. It is very hearty, loves hot weather and blooms until frost.
It is great for gardens and the butterflies simply love it. Farther down the list I have posted a picture of my pink one and the Black Swallowtail Butterfly.
If you plant these, get ready, they will spread rapidly, but you can prune them back anytime and they will keep on blooming.
