I also come from a long line of quilters. I love to do hand quilting, makes it seem "more special". I designed this one myself.
As you can see, we Texans have many things to be proud of. Not only do we have the Bluebonnet as our state flower, there is the song "The Yellow Rose of Texas". We also have The Alamo, a great piece of history. We love chili, hot peppers and lots of good bar-b-q with friends and family to share it with.
We also have cactus, armadillos, rattlesnakes and last but not least, the Texas Longhorns-- the cow, not the ball team. (Go Aggies!!!)
Texas is a beautiful place to live and to visit. Hope you will get the chance to come share it with us.
