Widow's Tears

I have shown this flower before, but it is so beautiful this year, just had to share it again. It also is called Dayflower in that its blooms only last a day.

Early mornings find the woodline edges and roadsides a vivid sea of blue with large masses of these flowers.

They are a member of the Spiderwort Family and Native Americans used them to crush flowers and use the blue dye for their fabrics.

"They that sow tears shall reap in joy."
Psalm 126:5
