Tree Ears Fungi

Found this stump deep into the woods and it is covered with Tree Ears Fungi----neat looking.

Tree Ears Fungi are also named Judas' Ear Fungi after Judas Iscarot because it is believed he hung himself on an elm tree after his betrayal of JESUS. They are strangely found mostly on dead or live elm trees.

"And when they had bound HIM, they led HIM away, and delivered HIM to Pontius Pilate the governor.
