Here's another one I have never seen before. Looks like it just "hatched" from it's mushroom egg!!
We have had a lot of rain the past couple of weeks and mushrooms and fungi have appeared everywhere. Some are so unusual. This is my favorite so far. I went back the next day and it was opened up like a regular shaped mushroom.
"Shower, O heavens, from above, and let the clouds rain down righteousness; let the earth open, that salvation and rightenousness may bear fruit; let the earth cause them both to sprout; I the LORD have created it."
