Rose Palafoxia

Member of Sunflower Family
Blooms: June - October
This strange looking flower grows in very poor soils. It likes sandy, soils in prairies, brushlands and along woodlines. Click to see the tiny detail of each flower. Very pretty!!!
Rose Palafoxia does well in gardens if started from seeds in the fall. It has has abundant nectar and pollen, attracting small insects and especially butterflies.
