Mimosa Tree

I found this tree out in our woods, though it is not considered a wildflower, it is still very beautiful and plentiful around this area. It is closely related to wildflowers.....Sensitive Brier, and it's leaves close up if touched also.

The Mimosa blooms are loved by bees and they have plentiful pollen. Click for a closer view. Another common name is "Silk Tree".
